During my internship at CLOAD Creative, I undertook a project to revamp the brand identity for Wing Heong's snack products. This experience provided me with valuable opportunities for learning, contributing to the project's success, and engaging with various stakeholders.
The brand's chosen theme revolves around the Japanese Retro style. Given that the target audience primarily comprises young adults aged 18 to 30, our design approach prioritized brightness and boldness to captivate their attention effectively. Throughout the packaging design process, character design played a central role in conveying the distinct flavors of the products. Furthermore, the brand's name, "Pretty Boys," served as a focal point, aligning with the overarching brand identity and concept.
